Life Throws You Curve Balls

It reminds me of that scene from Rocky where he is telling his son to not give up and keep moving forward regardless of what life throws at you. Lately there have been several curve balls thrown my way and naturally it has been at the top of my mind. When facing adversity in life you are given 2 options, you can either give up or keep pressing forward. Life is such an interesting thing, we as humans are such emotional creatures and the have been designed to feel and give pain. We hurt ourselves, we hurt others, and we get hurt by others. It's just part of what goes on in the course of a human life.

We have successes and failures all the time throughout life, certain people will live in the negativity that the failures create, they will say that the where destined to fail, they will blame others, they will claim that the world was against them and that they never had a chance to begin with. They will claim that the others who have succeeded did so because they had some extraordinary advantage and there was nothing that could have changed their fate.

While others will learn form their failures and "keep moving forward", they will accept the failure as a learning experience and focus on the success beyond the temporary failure. These are the leaders and winners in our human society, they are an inspiration to those of us going through the hard times and they show us that there is a silver lining.
