2013 Winding Down

Here we are approaching the end of November and there are still several things that need to be completed by the end of the year. I'm opening my new RE/MAX Franchise before the end of the year and that really has me busy these days. RE/MAX Patriot in Alamo Ranch will be one of the premier real estate brokerages in South Texas. The Real Estate market has been on a pretty wild ride over the last 7 years, a lot of people lost money and a lot of people profited during this time. If you are one of the Americans that lost during this time you may feel skeptical about purchasing real estate in the future. I'd urge you to think about what would have happened if you had found a way to hold onto the investments that you lost during this time you would have seen your assets regain nearly all of the value it lost during the recession. Maybe you lost your job or where experiencing some other kind of hardship that forced you to let go of those assets but just because you failed that time does not mean you will not succeed this time. Don't give up, store your wealth in your home and other real estate, it's a lot better than having it in our fragile banking institutions, control your wealth and build equity.

That's the reality of our market, real estate should be viewed as a long term investment, there are so many factors attributing to the value of a piece of property it's nearly impossible to guarantee massive short term gains and if that is what you are seeking many times it will come at the expense of another American. They will either overpay for it or take a bigger loss when they sell it, this is this reason why the investment market is so strong.

We are at a unique time in American History, everyone around the world is betting we are going to fail, they say we are dead broke, they say that China will be the new world power. Are we going to sit there and accept failure, I for one will not, we will remain the most powerful and prosperous country in the world because we are FREE. Free to control our own destinies, free to live our own lives, and free to deny any oppressing power that tries to stop us. We will Prevail.
