Prosperity in San Antonio

Our market and economy continues to improve and despite poor leadership and an overly regulatory environment the American markets have decided that they were going to thrive anyway. We are currently in the midst of a bona fide housing boom here in South Texas, home values are reaching highest levels since 2007 and despite the oil and gas business going through some turbulence all other areas appear to be thriving.

Interest rates have stayed low, consumer confidence has risen, and the American Dollar is stronger than it has been in over a decade, we have every reason to be optimistic about our future. With the tension of a presidential election on the horizon we must elect leadership that will make the most of our success and not squander all the good that has been done by the American people. It won't happen over night but I do believe that we can return to a government of freedom, transparency, and fiscal conservatism, once that happens America's standard of being the land of opportunity will remain for many more years. The American dream will stay alive and well as long as we teach our children what to stand for and what to fight for.

The dream of Home ownership is alive and well here in San Antonio, Texas; our agents are selling more homes than ever before. The other day one of my newer agents asked me what the secret was to becoming a top producing agent. I basically told her that if you go out there in this world and have a genuine interest in the people you come in contact with you will be a top producing agent. Clients, customers, and consumers want to work and do business with people that they can get along with and have a friendly relationship with and that only happens when one takes a genuine interest in someone else. Websites, social media, and blogging are only tools that get us closer to taking that genuine interest but it has to come from with in, you have really got to want to get to know these folks and want to help them with their real estate needs.

The only thing we have to be unhappy about here in San Antonio is the fact that our beloved Spurs are no longer in the playoffs. Just short of one more epic title run our Spurs fell to the Los Angeles Clippers in round one of the Western Conference playoffs. We love our Spurs and we'll be back next year of course. Icing on the Cake!
